This fun snail with it's big swirly shell looks great among lower garden plantings. While most gardeners hate seeing snails around their plants and shrubs, this snail should help intimidate any of the smaller real ones from coming around. It has a stake in the bottom that makes moving it around to new spots.

It is carved from a log of ash wood from our property and is finished with spar urethane that should last many years outdoors. I do recommend that it be brought indoors out of the elements during the winter to make it last even longer. Even though the wood is dry and has been sealed on all sides, as with all wood pieces (especially whole logs), there is a chance for some splitting over time.
